Capacity Building UMKM berbasis Menjahit untuk Peningkatan Nilai Ekonomi Produk Lokal

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkuat kapasitas sebuah UMKM jahit di Kota Denpasar yang selama ini menghadapi berbagai hambatan operasional, seperti penataan ruang yang tidak terorganisasi, keterbatasan keterampilan teknis, serta tata kelola bahan yang kurang efisien. Melalui program pendampingan selama dua hari pada Agustus 2025, tim pengabdian melakukan serangkaian aktivitas mencakup observasi langsung, pelatihan teknik menjahit dan obras, penataan ulang area produksi, serta pengenalan prosedur perawatan mesin yang lebih sistematis. Tahapan kegiatan dirancang untuk menjawab kebutuhan spesifik mitra, sekaligus mendorong terbentuknya alur kerja yang lebih ergonomis dan terukur. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nyata pada aspek produktivitas, kualitas jahitan, dan stabilitas mesin, disertai perbaikan signifikan pada kebersihan serta kerapian ruang kerja. Selain itu, pengelolaan limbah kain dan pemanfaatan ulang material sisa mulai diterapkan sebagai langkah awal menuju efisiensi yang lebih berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan berbasis kebutuhan riil UMKM mampu memperkuat kompetensi produksi, mengurangi kesalahan kerja, serta meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam memenuhi permintaan pelanggan. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model pemberdayaan yang dapat direplikasi pada unit usaha sejenis di wilayah perkotaan Bali.
