Peer Review Process
The peer review process in ABHIMA: Abdi Ilmiah untuk Masyarakat serves as a quality assurance mechanism to ensure that all manuscripts published meet rigorous academic and ethical standards. Each manuscript submitted to the journal will undergo a comprehensive and structured evaluation before being considered for publication.
Key Stages in the Peer Review Process:

Initial Editorial Screening
Every manuscript submitted will first be reviewed by the editorial team to assess its relevance, originality, and adherence to the journal's scope and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the author without external review. -
Double-Blind Review
ABHIMA uses a double-blind peer review system:-
Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.

Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
This ensures an objective and unbiased assessment process.

Review by Independent Experts
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be forwarded to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. These reviewers will provide written evaluations and recommendations. -
Review Outcomes
Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the manuscript will receive one of the following recommendations:-
Accept without revision

Editorial Decision
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board. While reviewer recommendations are taken seriously, the editorial team reserves the right to make independent decisions based on the journal’s standards and scope. -
Revision and Re-review
If revisions are required, authors will be invited to revise their manuscripts and resubmit within a specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for re-evaluation.
