AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Author Guidelines
Language and Format
Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English and must be submitted in .doc/.docx or .rtf format. The manuscript should contain a minimum of 2,000 words, typed using Cambria font, single-column layout on A4-sized paper, with 1.15 line spacing.
Title and Author Details
- Title: Concise and informative (15–20 words). Do not use specific names of institutions; city and country names are acceptable.
- Author Names: Full name in capital letters, without academic titles.
- Affiliation: Include full institution name, city, country, postal code, email, and phone/WhatsApp number.
- Corresponding Author: Indicated with an asterisk (*), include email address.
Abstract
The abstract must be written in both English and Indonesian (maximum 250 words each) in one paragraph. Abstracts must not contain references, abbreviations, acronyms, footnotes, questions, mathematical formulas, or conjectures. It must include:
- Purpose of the service
- Implementation method
- Results of the activity
- Recommendations/suggestions
Keywords
Provide 3–6 keywords in English that describe the article’s core content.
Main Messages
List 2–5 main messages summarizing the core outcomes of the community service activity.
Manuscript Structure
1. Introduction
Include background, rationale, problem formulation, objectives, and literature review (preferably from the last 10 years). Describe the community’s profile and local potential. Emphasize novelty and relevance to previous research.
2. Method
Explain the service implementation method, including time, location, target community, and phases of execution. Include flowcharts or diagrams where relevant.
3. Results and Discussion
Present results with tables, figures, or transcripts. Show output effectiveness (e.g., knowledge/skill improvements or products developed). Discuss implications, relevance to theory and practice, and limitations.
4. Conclusion
Summarize the objectives, main findings, limitations, and provide recommendations for future community service efforts.
5. Funding Statement
Include one of the following statements:
- “This community service activity received no external funding.”
- or “This community service activity was funded by [Funder Name], Grant No. [XXX].”
- or “Article Processing Charges (APC) were funded by [Institution].”
6. Acknowledgments
Recognize non-author contributions such as administrative, technical, or material support.
References
- Use APA 7th edition style (recommended tools: Mendeley or Zotero).
- At least 80% of references must be published within the last 10 years.
- At least 80% of the references must be journal articles.
- All in-text citations must be listed in the reference section and vice versa.
