Reviewers for the HIEROPHANY: Journal of Islamic Religious Education are recruited through a selective process based on academic qualifications, research expertise, and scholarly track records. Every submitted manuscript is reviewed by two or more reviewers whose expertise aligns with the manuscript’s scope. This process ensures that all reviews are accurate, in-depth, and of high academic quality. Authors and reviewers collaboratively contribute to maintaining the journal’s scholarly standards and publication ethics.

In 2026, the journal is supported by 18 reviewers representing 18 institutional affiliations from Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, India, and Iraq. These reviewers contribute expertise in Islamic educational psychology, curriculum development, educational policy, instructional development, and assessment, ensuring a rigorous, independent, and high-quality peer-review process.
